SOLD - Onni Mäkipelkola Puukko - SOLD

Onni Mäkipelkola made puukko. Made in 1940's. Knife and sheath in good condition. Handle has stacked birch bark with Finnish Lion decal. On back of handle is the name 'Nick Dumdrs' beautifully engraved into the birch bark. This knife was probably a gift for him. Sheath is of cardboard. After the war leather was not easily available and many sheaths were made of cardboard at that time. This one is beautifully decorated with designs and a Finnish Flag decal and tassles with leather belt loop.
