Metis (French Indian)

The blade on the Metis is indistinguishable from authentic knives I've seen from the North American trade era, including the Spanish notch at the blade base. The handle appears to be good quality tiger maple. The placement of 2 of the pins in the handle is somewhat sloppy and off center,so two small partial unfilled holes are evident in the handle due to the placement of the pins. Otherwise it is an adequate reproduction.
