J. Marttiini Antler Sheath

J. Marttiini fancy Puukko made is 1992. These days it's difficult to find such long straight antler, so this model is no longer made. A very handsome knife with a 9.5" forged stainless steel blade. The antler and curly birch handle sports a hollow carved top which contains a piece of antler that serves as a rattle. When shaken this will deter the evil spirits. The antler on the sheath is carved so that the blade shows through. In Finland this would be a gift for a much respected person.
