Our kuksas are made of carefully selected arctic birch burl and uniquely treated with salt and paraffin. This makes them durable and long lasting while light enough to carry in a backpack or on a belt. The Kuksa is made from renewable materials and so it is a true nature product. Kuksas do not need any special care. They do not need to be washed, although you may rinse out the kuksa in clean water. Do not put it in a dishwasher or in the microwave or leave liquid sitting in it for too long. The simple design is functional as well as pleasing to the senses.
