In the Arctic forests of Finland birch trees grow with their beautiful bark of white and black. When downed, this tree's skin is peeled in the spring and used for many items and one is knife handles. This knife's blade is hammered and the birch bark is hammered onto the tang of the handle. The handle is comfortable, warm and water repellant.
