SOLD - Coat of Arms Puukko - SOLD

This vintage puukko from the 1930's or 40's made in Kauhava is in nearly mint condition. In the blood groove is written "Isakki Järvenpää Kauhava" and on the bevel "Made in Finland" with engraved designs. The handle is also decorated with the Finnish Lion Coat of Arms. He's standing on a sword and brandishing one above his head. Sheath is also in very good condition with 9 grommets and the 4 points symbolizing the 4 sacred directions of the wind. The tassels are to wave in the wind to disperse the evil spirits.
