1939-49 Puukko

This unique puukko may be a wartime puukko as indicated by the dates embossed into the sheath. The long blade would be an effective fighting tool and also for slaughtering animals at home for food. The remains of an image of the Finnish flag are on the sheath. The strap on the sheath has a buckle to vary to fit the width of a belt. The blade is in quite good shape. The handle may be sliced and stacked galalite with the last slice on each end of the stack being aluminum. The liner in the sheath is of wood.
