I have one of these Puukko's very similar to the one shown.
It was passed down to my father from his father and used specifically for fishing. While it has been sitting in an old tackle box for over 50 years, I have always been aware of the 'feel' quality of the blade and sheath, etc. Ironically, the only damage the Puukko ever received was from myself as a pre-teen in the 1950's when I tried my luck at knife throwing and put a chip in the handle!
Overall, a fine example of Finnish/Scandinavian quality and workmanship!
