I haven't used the knife too much yet, so this is more of first impressions. I will post update in a few months based on performance.
When I first opened the knife, I was shocked at how sharp it was. It is the sharpest knife I have ever held. I sheath is nice and well made. I think it will hold up well since I use my knives almost daily. The handle is beautiful and the fish provides a lot of grip, which is highly important to me. All around one of my favorite knives I own.
I will post the update in a few months after I use it a bit (or a lot)

The knife I ordered arrived today, 5 days after the order, during which there was 2 public holidays. This is far quicker than the goods I have... My best carving knives I am a wood carver, hunter and survivalist. My best carving knives are Finnish. Wolverine I am using one of the Wolverine's and thus far have enjoyed it against everything I have cut. I do believe this edge is going to outlast most carbon... That's impressive After splitting the breastbone lengthwise on both deer, plus cutting both of them up, including deboning all of the meat, the Leuku is still sharp... I love the knife! I purchased one of the Puukko Tommi knives at a recent show in Austin TX. I love the knife! |
